Small Wonder

Small Wonder is another one of those shows that became popular in syndication. I remember watching it right before Charles in Charge. The storylines revolve around V.I.C.I. (an acronym for "Voice Input Child Identicant"), an android and the family of a robotics engineer who built her. They tried to pass her off as their own daughter. I remember they had a son and the bratty neighbor girl had a crush on him. V.I.C.I. could do anything. The girl that played her didn't really have to be a great actress. She would talk in that monotone robot voice. "Yes, I will do that." . The show ran for 4 seasons in syndication. In 2002, Robert Bianco, TV critic for USA Today, listed it as a contender for one of the worst TV shows of all time.
