Best known as eccentric medium Tangina Barrons in the Poltergeist movies, Zelda Rubinstein was an actress that had a punch to her small size. She stood just 4 feet 3 inches but always stole the scene from many actors. She later appeared as guest stars on many T.V. show. She landed a regular cast spot as Ginny Weedon in the Emmy Award winning television series Picket Fences. Zelda also did voice over work including the Skittles 'Taste the Rainbow' ad campaign. Not to bad when you think she has worked with the likes of Molly Ringwald, Steven Spielberg, Carrie Fisher, and Chevy Chase. I can still hear her voice and see those tennis balls. A couple of months before her death on January 27, 2010, Zelda suffered a heart attack. Complications set in (kidney and lung failure) and she passed away at age 76 in a Los Angeles hospital.
