American Gothic (film)

I first found this film in the Wal-mart DVD dump bin. I wanted it because it had Rod Steiger and Yvonne DeCarlo on the cover. You can't beat that! What I got when I popped it in was pure craptastic magic. American Gothic is a 1988 horror movie about about a bunch of friends that are forced to land a plane on a lonely deserted island. They meet Ma and Pa who let them stay until they can find of way home. What they find is truly great. They meet Ma and Pa's children, Franny and Woody. They claim they are 12 but they look like they are 40 years old. It gets weirder. Franny and Woody are dressed in over sized kids clothes. Murders start taking place and before you know it... well lets just say a pair of knitting needles are involved. This is a movie that needs to be seen to be believed. Once you watch it, you will want to find someone who has seen it.
