Originally it was a drink mix in the late 1930s, the Pixy Stix was started in 1952 in Springfield, Missouri. Coming in different flavors, the Pixy Stix just was powder in a paper stick wrapper. Sometimes you can get the really big Sticks and they are in a plastic wrapper. To get a real sugar high, you would just pour one of the Pixy Stixs in a can of pop. That would make your eyeballs pop out. My favorite flavor was Cherry.
