Did You know: Elaine wasn't in the 1st Episode of Seinfeld?

The pilot episode of Seinfeld was called The Seinfeld Chronicles. All the things you know about the show are there, except Elaine wasn't in the pilot. GET OUT!!! In fact, Elaine wasn't even suppose to be the female character in the show. The character of Claire the waitress was originally planned as a regular. The role of Claire was played by Lee Garlington. If only someone gave her a good tip about the success of the show. Out of superstition, Julia Louis-Dreyfus has claimed she will never watch the episode. Good thing, because this episode seems to slow. The ideas are there, but the show just seem off. The other thing that is different is that Kramer is called "Kessler," This is explained in the ninth season during the backwards episode, The Betrayal. The episode goes Eleven years in the past, when new resident Jerry tells his neighbor across the hall, whom he calls Kessler because that is the name on the buzzer. Still, no mention of Claire, the waitress.
