TV Guide ranked it #8 on TV Guide's List of the 50 Worst TV Shows of All Time. When I heard that I knew I had to check it out. Cop Rock was a police drama presented as a musical. Move over Glee, these Cops and Robbers could see. Well sort of. It was created by Steven Bochco. The one song that stuck out for me was when the couple was going to the Black Market about babies. They meet a "Baby Merchant". How did this show get the green light anyway? The show was a critical and commercial failure and was canceled by ABC after 11 episodes. It became infamous as one of the biggest television failures of the 1990s. Despite all of that, the show wow an Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Music and Lyrics.
