Crime Doesn't Pay

I don't understand why when some people my age grow up, they still get in trouble. Are you telling me they haven't learned their lesson? Here is why I don't by that. Growing up there were a lot of cartoons that got in trouble for doing bad things. Who could forget how the Beagle Boys always ending up in jail. Sure that Duckberg jail couldn't hold a fly, but they always ending up back there. And don't get me started on the Cookie Crisp Crook
In the span of 30 seconds, he got his fix of Cookie Crisp and still got caught. Maybe the fact that these hanus criminals kept breaking out, could be the the reason that crime is on the rise. How dare they lock you up, when you can just have you mother bake you a cake and put a file in it. I mean I know that the Cookie Cop was no Kojak, but come on. Think about all the cereal commercials about cartoons trying to steal a bowl of goodness. From the Tricks Rabbit to Barney Rubble. It never works, if if Barney dresses up like a Woman. Talk about Fruity Pebbles.
And the biggest criminal of them all, The Hamburglar. First off, this guy wasn't well educated. He could only say the same phrase over and over. Second, you know where to find him. Look for the mailbox that says HamBURGLAR. It's not like these guys are blending in very well. Their fashion statement it a bunch of strips. So remember kids, and grown up kids. Crime doesn't pay.
