Short Circuit was a 1986 movie about a U.S. military robot that gets stuck by lightning and thinks it is alive. The film starred Ally Sheedy , Steve Guttenberg, and Fisher Stevens. The robot's voice was played by American puppeteer and voice actor, Tim Blaney. He also played Johnny 5 in the sequel, Short Circuit 2. Some great quotes from the robot include, "Johnny 5 is Alive!" and "Hey Laserlips. Your mama was a snow blower." Blaney has been involved as a puppeteer for many movies. He has provided the voices for Frank the Pug in Men in Black and Men in Black II. He also did work on the movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall and How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
