Connie Chung began her career as a Washington, D.C.-based correspondent for the CBS Evening News with Walter Cronkite in the early 1970s. This was during the Watergate scandal. She struggled with ratings with a morning news program on NBC called, NBC News at Sunrise. Things started looking up when she moved back to CBS. She hosted Saturday Night with Connie Chung, and on June 1, 1993, she became the second woman (after Barbara Walters with ABC in 1976) to co-anchor a major network's national news broadcast. She is married to talk show host Maury Povich. The real question is, Where is she Now? Looks like after her disastrous shows on CNN and MSNBC, Connie has sort of stayed out of the spotlight. She makes guest appearances on talk shows to talk about current events. She has also narrated some informative documentary. The last real appearance seems to be this year when she was a judge in the Miss Universe 2011 pageant.
