That's So Olivia

To this day it makes me mad when sitcoms bring in young kids to help build up the ratings. Most of the time it never works and the child actors can go down a dark road. There are happy stories, like Raven-Symoné. Raven played Olivia Kendall in the last couple seasons of The Cosby Show. Did I hate this? You bet I did, Rudy Huxtable 2.0 wannabe. But she did pull her self up from her time with the Huxtables. Most might know her as Raven from That's so Raven.

Then there are kids that just don't make it past there acting prime. One example is Brian Bonsall. Brian played Andrew Keaton is the last couple of seasons of Family Ties. But I remember him from the Made for T.V. Movie, Do You Know the Muffin Man? This Alex P. Keaton Jr. got on mine nerves right away. Brian has had run ins with the law,through drug charges to false imprisonment. Guess the Ties were not strong enough. So this is my letter to all those sitcoms out there that want to add more kids. Stop! (This means you Modern Family) and let your current child actors shine. And Yeah as Whitney Hudson says, "Help them Lead the Way" and not "Crack is Whack"
