A couple years ago J.C Penny discontinued its Big Book catalogs. Discontinuing the printed catalogs gave the company pricing flexibility. Catalogs forced the retailer to lock in prices, which can change weekly at promotionally priced department stores. To me this will always be a part of my childhood. My mom use to throw those catalogs at us and say,"Mark what you want for Christmas." When i was really young and we were visiting someone, they would always make me sit on one of these Big Books. Instant booster Chair. Sure they smelled funny, but I felt like a big kid for once.
