In 2006, CBS broadcasted a clever show about a record executive who gets fired from his major label job. He then takes a job with and indie label company. The show also followed his friend through their lives in New York City. It starred Tom Cavanagh and every episode got better and better. CBS pulled it after three episodes aired, but later VH1 picked up the serious and showed the remaining episode. Witty, Charming, Smart, and Real was what this show was. It is hard to get a show like that on the air and keep it, if it isn't about doctors and lawyers. If you need a pick me up and a smile, check it out. I found all the episode on youtube.
