Bill Erwin was an veteran character actor, but you might know him as "that old guy from that one show." He guest starred on many television shows in his life time. I remember him as the angry old guy that kept popping up on Growing Pain.
He was also in Seinfeld, I Love Lucy, and Star Trek: The Next Generation. He just had one of those faces that everyone knew. He was also in one of my favorite movies, Somewhere in Time. Bill Erwin died at his home on December 29, 2010 in from natural causes, near the production lot where Seinfeld was filmed.
