Top 5 most annoying Characters that were added later to a TV show.

Some times T.V. shows bring in Characters when ratings slide or when they need to bring new life into the show. Sometimes these additions are not the best ideas. This is my top five most annoying Characters that were added later to a TV show.

5) Steve Urkel - Urkel was brought in during Season 2 of Family Matters. Sure, he was annoying as the nerd who always said, "Did I do that?"  You mean piss me off, right? Because you did do that.

4) Coy and Vance Luke - see my past post

3)  Dr. Elvin Tibideaux - The Cosby show has many choices for this post, but Elvin is my choice.  There is just something annoying about him and Mrs Huxtable fighting over what a woman can and can't do.

2) Sam McKinney.- Sam was the little white kid that became a brother to the kids on Different Strokes. There was just something about that "Awww Shucks" Country Kids that didn't mix well with the show.

1) Cousin Oliver - Did anyone really care that Cousin Oliver came into the house the last year of the Brady Bunch? Nope! and that is fine by me.

3 Retro Obsessions for the Week July 22 - 28

1) Telling Buster Poindexter to shut the hell up - Its been hot here. The last three days have been over 100. So the worst song to hear on the Radio is Hot Hot Hot by Buster Poindexter.

The other GIRLS from The Facts of Life?

Everyone remembers Tootie, Natalie, Jo, and Blair on the Facts of Life, but did you know there were also four other girls in Season One? Julie Anne Haddock (Cindy), Julie Piekarski (Sue Ann), Felice Schachter (Nancy), and Molly Ringwald (Molly). The girls were written out of the show, but they later made cameos through out the run of the serious. In fact, you can even chalk up more other girl on your slot. Kimberly Drummond,"Dana Plato", from the Different Strokes went to school there too. The plotline for the pilot had Kimberly Drummond requesting that Mrs. Garrett help her sew costumes for a student play at East Lake School for Girls, as her dorm's housemother had quit.

Whatever happened to: Six from the TV Show Blossom

Six LeMeure was Blossom's best friend on the T.V. show, Blossom. She was played by Jenna von Oÿ. Most of the Cast has moved on from the shadows of the T.V. , but whatever happened to Six? After Blossom, she went back to school to study film. She dropped out to take up acting again. She got the role of of Stevie van Lowe, Kim Parker's sidekick on The Parkers. Big leap going from one sidekick to another sidekick. Ha Ha! Breaking out of that mold, she decided to lend her voice to the animated series Pepper Ann. This led to other voice work including: Family Guy, What's with Andy? and Dr. Dolittle 3. Jenna even tried her luck at recording a Country Album. Her debut album, Breathing Room, was released on September 18, 2007. On October 10, 2010, she married computer data consultant Brad Bratcher .They have one daughter, Gray Audrey, born on May 21, 2012.

What was really in that Gummiberry Juice?

Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears was a cartoon that aired during the late 80's and early 90's. The Gummi Bears got special power from drinking Gummiberry Juice. They would bounce high and run fast. It is said that you make it  by adding six handfuls of red berries, then four orange berries, three purple berries, four blue berries, three green berries and one yellow berry. The recipe ends with the 3-step-stir: first stir slow to the right, then slow to the left, then tap the pot to banish the bubbles. Let's get serious. A complicated recipe that is made in the woods? Sounds like Cartoon Moonshine to me. Are we suppose to believe that there wasn't a secret ingredient in this drink? What a great thing to teach kids. Drink this and you will be bouncing off the walls for hours. Thanks Disney, you made me an addict once again.

Top 5 Inspirational Theme songs (from the 80's)

Have you ever noticed that the Theme song from T.V. show in the 80's were a little different. They had lyrics and those lyrics seemed inspirational. Why did they need to have those lyrics? This was only a family sitcom! I am looking back at how powerful they were. Listen closely to the lyrics and enjoy. These are my Top theme song. They just all happen to be from the 80's.
