I don't do that many modern CD reviews on my blog. This is called reto cool junk reminder after all. But this album needs some attention. Ryan States is an "out" singer-songwriter that has brought a flare of 80's piano pop into a modern feel. This album (I do believe the only album of it's kind) was recorded on a train. If that doesn't make you want to listen to this wonderful album, then stop reading my blog. I mean a train people!!! Dealing with issues like coming out, moving away, and affairs of the heart, Ryan has somehow combind Ben Folds charm with Elton Johns wit. There is nothing strange about growing up. Hell, even if you grow up gay. Here is to this wonderful album. Check out the influences and enjoy.
Cool Retro Crap you might or might not remember. 70, 80, 90, even early 00's

A Few Good Men? more like A Few Good Actors.
So I was Watching the movie A Few Good Men and I was amazed on how many great actors are in that movie. Sure you have Demi, Tom, and Jack, but all the supporting cast suprised me. Maybe I just forgot but let me remind you who else is in this modern classic.
Kiefer Sutherland, Kevin Pollak, Kevin Bacon (use this movie to Connect your Six degrees) Noah Wyle, J. T. Walsh, J.A. Preston, Joshua Malina, Cuba Gooding, Jr, and (of all people) a cameo by Christopher Guest. With a cast like that, "We can handle the truth."
Today's Special
Today's Special was a canadian children's show that I use to watch on Nickelodeon. The show followed a children's department show and Jodie the Window dresser that worked there. She would always carry a mannequin named Jeff. Jeff would come alive when his hat was placed on his head. Other characters include Muffy the mouse, who always rhymed and said "hocus pocus alimagocus!" to help bring Jeff to Life. Also, The store's security guard, Sam who was like Barney Fife as a puppet. The show would focus on teaching about objects like, hats and costumes.
